"Professional Writing Coach and College Professor with ESL background"
My only concern is helping my students reach their potential. I begin by getting to know students, their unique talents, stories, and struggles. From there, I craft individualized plans to best fit needs. Our sessions are intense but also engaging--and sometimes even a little fun. I like to make jokes, but I also like to get work done. Students leave my sessions confident in what they have learned and feeling accomplished.

"Orton Gillingham Tutor - Reading"
Hello,
My name is Daniel E. I am a licensed teacher in my fifth year of teaching. I have taught social studies, worked in a special-education resource room, and currently work as a reading interventionist for students in grades three through five. I am also a certified Orton Gillingham tutor. Orton Gillingham (OG) is a multi sensory approach to teaching struggling readers.
I love tutoring because I get to know students on a one-to-one basis. This individual instruction is beneficial. I look... ... More

My son has really begun to grow in his reading since we starting tutoring with Tim. He is flexible and naturally knew how to get my son more engaged. Would definitely recommend.

Talea helped me write a 7 page essay. She was very professional and was easy to contact. We communicated through text and email and she responded quickly on both forms of messaging. She is really nice and very helpful. My writing skills have improved immensely since working with Talea.

"Highly Qualified English/Language Arts Teacher (Certified 6-12)"
Hello!
My name is Bob, and I have two years of full time teaching experience at a High School in Kenai, Alaska. Therefore, I understand what teachers are looking for. Furthermore, I am "highly qualified" (it's a certificate they give to some teachers that know their content really well) in English language, literature, and composition.
In general, I'm laid back. However, I'm passionate about motivating students to push themselves to reach their greatest potential. If you choose me to be... ... More
