Feeling extremely overwhelmed this semester, to have to get through precalculus seemed impossible. Brian, through patience and clarity, was able to shed some much needed light on many necessary to understand concepts. Thanks to him I have earned the four credits for the course and am one step closer to my bachelor's degree.
Thank you Brian!!

"Advanced Math and Science Tutor"
I'm a graduate from an Ivy League college with a degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in electrical engineering. Even though, aside from when I worked at a teaching assistant while getting my masters in mechanical engineering, I don't have teaching background, I have always enjoyed tutoring because I enjoy learning and believe that it's an important skill for life. I primarily tutor high school math and science (physics and chemistry), but I have also tutored college level math (calc... ... More

"Experienced Math and Science Tutor"
I am a former high school math teacher with a background in both mathematics and biology. I have been told by many students that I manage to make math fun and educational at the same time. Tutoring works best if you are already motivated to learn, regardless of how well you think you understand the material. If you want to learn it, I can teach you.... ... More

"Experienced tutor for physics and math"

In addition to helping with homework problems, I will teach you to tackle similar problems in the exams. I have helped some students who have been out of school for a number ... ... More

Knowledgeable, warm, patient, methodical, pleasant, prompt, accommodating, flexible, awesome, down to earth, organized, comforting, confident, funny and determined. Ben is an amazing tutor! I initially contacted WyzAnt for a tutor who had experience with APA and Word. Several tutors answered the request, and were very nice. I decided to go with Ben because he lived close by. Well, I couldn't have been luckier. I was extremely anxious because I had to submit a 100 page project on line, and my formatting was off. I am pursuing my PhD, and papers that are not formatted correctly are bounced back until correct. Ben was successful in reformatting my computer and my paper. In addition to all of that, he was teaching me how to format step by step. A HUGE undertaking. I cannot thank Ben enough. As a matter of fact, I plan to ask Ben to be my editor for my dissertation!
Thank you Ben!!

"Test Prep Expert and More"
Accounting served as the base of my overall education and an entry point to everything I needed to do. I took courses all the way through the CPA exam, and excelled in related work venues, getting opportunities in most of the areas you've heard aboutgovernment, public accounting, private business, and nonprofits. How accounting is taught hasn't changed much, the good and the bad of it. I know every rough spot along the way, and I provide guidance and encouragement for my students, some of whom are current professionals who missed a thing or two in school. My specialties right now are: f ... More
