Knowledgeable, warm, patient, methodical, pleasant, prompt, accommodating, flexible, awesome, down to earth, organized, comforting, confident,funny and determined. Ben is an amazing tutor! I initially contacted WyzAnt for a tutor who had experience with APA and Word. Several tutors answered the request,and were very nice. I decided to go with Ben because he lived close by. Well, I couldn't have been luckier. I was extremely anxious because I had to submit a 100 page project on line, and my formatting was off. I am pursuing my PhD, and papers that are not formatted correctly are bounced back until correct. Ben was successful in reformatting my computer and my paper. In addition to all of that, he was teaching me how to format step by step. A HUGE undertaking. I cannot thank Ben enough. As a matter of fact, I plan to ask Ben to be my editor for my dissertation!

Of all my years in school, I have never had someone so helpful as Mathew has been. He is extremely knowledgeable in not only Japanese, but concepts and language as a whole, as well as new and efficient teaching methods. I was worried at first because I know next to nothing about Japanese, and I know it is a huge undertaking to teach from scratch, but he handled this very well, with many ideas of how to approach the situation. He is very accommodating and patient, and knows how to adapt to the style of the student. He puts his all into the lesson and explains things very well. He even stayed nearly an hour later than the scheduled time helping me without charge! I seriously cannot recommend him enough, and will be looking forward to working with him much more in the future as our lessons progress!
