"Experienced Math Tutor: Algebra, Trig, Precalc, Calculus, SAT and more"

Tutoring has been a passion for me for the last seven years. I first began tutoring in my final year of high school and seeing my student go from struggling to success was the best feeling I ever had. When I started my undergraduate studies in Mathematics, I was offered a job in the Center for Academic Development. While there, I tutored peers in math, was ranked in the top tutors for several semesters and was then selected for"The Most Outstanding Tutor" award which is give to the most quali... ... More

Thomas has tutored our son in Physics, and he is a great teacher. He is punctual and gets to work immediately. His explanations are very thorough and he is enthusiastic about the topic. He also makes the student feel capable of mastering a very difficult subject. I highly recommend him!

I wasn't sure where to turn when my little one requested chess lessons. I don't play chess and he is really young. Keith was wonderful every step of the way, both teaching my son patiently and helping me assist my son in learning beyond the tutoring sessions. He recommended books and groups so he could continue to improve. I was truly impressed with the professionalism and thoughtfulness of this tutor. I think that gifted teachers combine intelligence with an ability to patiently explain and invest energy in their students beyond what is necessary. If each of us is lucky, we will encounter one such teacher and that person can be transformational. Keith is such a tutor. He is outstanding in every way. He is just wonderful and I was lucky to find him through WyzAnt.

This was my daughter's first session with Fred and it was awesome. Fred arrived on time and was very friendly. My daughter was very comfortable with him. Sarah said that he gave her background information that she had been missing and helped her with her current assignments. She is excited about Physics now and is looking forward to Physics tomorrow in school because she understands it. We can't wait for him to come back next week.

"Trombone, Voice, and Saxophone instructor "

I am a recent graduate from Rhode Island College with my degree in music education. I am trying to find students that would like to learn and discover more with music and to help them master their craft. I have taken many all music classes here at Rhode Island College, however, I completed my degree primarily on trombone and vocal performances. I have studied as well in other areas of music such as music theory and basic piano. I have taught students in the past on trombone, saxophone an... ... More
