Hello! I was a wildlife biologist for 15 years and was laid off 5 years ago. Because it is difficult to find a wildlife biology job, I decided to expand my horizons and enrolled in the Connecticut Department of Higher Education's program to become a certified teacher. Since graduating, I have been a teacher with the Ledyard School District - I have taught high school biology and environmental science as well as 8th grade general science. I thought tutoring may be a challenging and rewardi... ... More

Michelle was very professional. She is excellent at communicating with the parent and providing feedback. She is very transparent about her goals and how she plans to accomplish them. My child was definitely comfortable with her and enjoyed his experience. She comes across as extremely capable and knowledgeable. I appreciate her willingness to travel to us and do what she can to prepare my child for kindergarten. Look forward to future sessions.

She never took Linguistics 200 but my biggest thanks goes out to her for helping me get through this class. She really knows how to put a student in the right direction. As a result of all our hard work, I got an A- for the class. If another student ever have to take Linguistics 200, I would definitely recommend Kit.
