"All-Subject/Test Prep Tutor, Specializing in Language Instruction"
As your child's private tutor, I believe that my role is to provide both support and challenge in a positive learning environment. One-on-one tuition allows a student room to breathe and test their skills and understanding not without fear of failure, but without fear of the negative consequences that failure in a classroom setting can entail.
My tutoring philosophy is Socratic—I believe in asking students questions to let them find their way to the correct and logical answer, and in them a... ... More
Andre seems to enjoy teaching and it shows. He has figured out where my son is struggling with Algebra 2 and is doing a great job motivating him. I've noticed a difference in his attitude towards his homework. My son, who doesn't connect with people easily seems to like him, which is obviously very important. Great job.

Mr. James is a great tutor. If you need a patient person to work with and teach you or your child math/algebra then he fits the bill. After every session, I would ask my son if he felt like he was learning and if he understood what he was taught, the answer was "yes". He told me that Mr. James breaks down the information so he understood exactly what he was doing. Mr. James worked around his schedule and our busy schedule to accommodate my child's learning needs. I appreciate his kind spirit and willingness to teach without frustration. To teach, you must love what you do and Mr. James has a love for math; its shows though and though.

"Guitar Instruction "
Hello, how are you? Yes, I have experience teaching guitar. I love the excitement on my students face when they finally learn how the guitar works and are able to play songs. I also love meeting new people and teaching them skills that I have acquired over several years. Playing the guitar can be satisfying and rewarding depending on how much time you put into the craft. I love playing in front of large crowds and hearing them clap after each and every song.
I have been playing guitar over... ... More
