I was very lucky to have the HOPE scholarship along with many AP credit hours that gave me lots of time to explore what I found interesting. My college experience was widely varied, and I realized that I had passions for many areas of the hard sciences as well ... ... More

"Education Coach/ SPANISH/ENGLISH expert: Career Special Ed Teacher"

These acronyms have used for so long without reference to their meaning, it might be good to start by referring to what these letters refer to. As "disorders", like "syndromes" and many conditions identified with the final letter "itis" (tonsillitis for example) the name refers to a symptomatic observation, not a condition of known cause. In the case of ADD/ADHD, there is much room for interpretation of observations, which are concerned with lack of attention to certain tasks, and difficulty ... More

It helped that for the short session that we had, I prepared the notes and homework that I didn't understand. In going through them, this allowed Glen to quickly asses my level of understanding for statistics. From there he was able to explain the concepts I had trouble grasping. He brought texts and extra graphs and charts of formulas laid out simply so I could visually see what he was talking about. He was very prompt, PATIENT, and courteous. He didn't make me feel dumb. Overall, he is a great tutor and I highly recommend him.
One can easily tell the tutors that have a true passion for helping others learn--with that said, thank you for sharing your knowledge and making one comfortable with asking questions.
