Rebecca is an amazing tutor, she has helped me so much. I am currently a community college student but I am preparing to transfer to UC Davis. The transfer program requires students to complete various general education courses for their application to be accepted. I have completed nearly all of the requirements, except the math requirement. I had difficulty with math since childhood and I struggled to pass high school algebra with a C, so I naturally resisted taking math courses in college. In order to transfer, I must pass college algebra, so in August I took the college math assessment placement test and was very depressed when I placed into pre-algebra. My placement in pre-algebra meant I had to take four math courses to fulfill the math course requirement. I would have needed to take pre-algebra, then elementary algebra, then intermediate algebra, and finally college algebra to fulfill the math requirement. Additionally, each math class takes a full semester, I would have needed four semesters for math, so I would not have been able to complete the transfer requirements by the application deadline.
In order to meet the UC Davis transfer application deadline, the lowest course I could place into is Intermediate Algebra. This meant I needed to retake the assessment test before registration for the next semester and place into a higher level math course. I knew I would need a lot of help to improve my placement level, so I began searching for a tutor. Rebecca is the most amazing tutor I have ever had! She explains mathematical concepts so that they are easy to understand and memorize. After only a few months of being tutored by Rebecca, I retook the test and this time I placed into intermediate algebra! Instead of taking four math courses, I now only need to take two. Rebecca makes learning math enjoyable and has greatly expanded my knowledge on the subject. If you are looking for a great tutor, contact Rebecca :-)

James has been pretty excellent so far, at times I can feel that the sessions are a little under-structured, but he is a good person and knowledgeable about speaking.
