Vaibhav is an outstanding tutor. I had him help me with study skills and writing research work. He is very patient and his extensive experience is evident when he teaches. He made difficult academic research papers easier to understand through examples and analogy. I have done extremely well on my research paper that I worked with him on (my last grade was a 96/100 and I only lost a few points for minor format mistakes.) He is extremely accommodating with his schedule and goes above and beyond. He worked with me last minute to review my paper in on time just so I could meet my deadline. He came prepared by reading the articles in advance and taking his own notes so I could make the most of my time with him. I couldn't ask for a better tutor! Thanks Vaibhav!

Luis has been, for me, one of the greatest writing teachers of my entire scholastic career. Writing was always a difficult topic for me to fully grasp because it is not a fact subject. By that, I simply mean that two different teachers with the same paper may grade it completely different. Luis, taught me a way to write, that teaches the core fundamentals of writing while still keeping my unique style.
Not only does he teach exceptionally well but he has never wasted a moment of any of our time together. I can honestly say he is one of the few teachers that wont try to take up time just to get to the end of a class. this means, if we finish our session early not only will he leave at that time, but he only charges for the time we spent together learning. Because of his teachings not only will I score much higher on the S.A.T writing portion of the test but I will be a much better writer throughout my life.

"Academic Prose / College Composition"
My interest in working as an academic tutor began after earning an A grade on the first expository essay I wrote as a college freshman. Over ten years later, I submitted an economic research report as a continuing education student. That report reawakened a proclivity for academic prose. From that point on, I pursued all writing roles either as the mentor or as the author. My first tutoring responsibility materialized in the fall of 2009 when I accepted an assignment to tutor freshman Eng... ... Rodrigo was a great help to me for College Algebra. He really knows his stuff. He didn't even need to look in my textbook for samples on how to work out the problems. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He's nice, very reliable, and most importantly PATIENT!! In order to understand such in depth work, one needs someone who makes them feel comfortable and willing to show them over and over and over again how to do the problems! Awesome tutor!

My son and I are very happy with Mary and I personally cannot believe how inspired I was selecting her from the several options I had on WyzAnt. Aside from perfect pedagogical skills and a wonderful personality, she is highly trained in her field and customizes her tutoring to her student's needs, keeping pace with how these needs evolve. She is also very good at incorporating feedback from the parents and making the students feel good about their performance and progress without "overdoing" it. All in all a perfect match for my 9 year old son who was "stuck in" phonetic spelling and was not able to move on to correct spelling on his own. We are VERY happy we met her and we recommend her without any reservations!!

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
My daughter takes honors physics and is struggling even though she is really good in math and did very well with other AP science courses. We tried a handful of tutors and none were a good match for her. Dan proved to be the tutor that she really could relate to. Dan corresponded prior to the lessons with us to get the syllabus and detailed information on what was being covered in class and came fully prepared. He explained concepts thoroughly and very patiently and had her solve a variety of problems to ensure she had grasped them well. I would highly recommend Daniel to anyone who is looking for a tutor that can tailor his work to your needs and is patient and very knowledgeable.
