I first started tutoring in high school as part of our volunteer program. I assisted students with their math and physics homework. After high school I was hired on as a program assistant at a BGCA-affiliated youth center and was primarily responsible for Power Hour, which was a 2 hour period of time directly after school that was intended to give the kids a place to do their homework and study in an environment that was tailored to help them focus and be comfortable.
