I love history and enjoy literature and writing. My A.B. degree was about the equivalent of a masters in English. I have had background checks done twice in the last 2-3 years in order to do the substituting I have done and am doing. If you need me to get another, I'll be glad to do one. What I do best is engage students one-on-one or in very small groups. The conscientious student will learn the material, and will learn to think critically about the material. I attended Norwich University majoring in both history and English. I am a voracious reader and love any form of literature. I studied theatre as part of my English classes in high school and performed regularly in high school productions, one of which won the Moss Hart Award in October, 1973 (honorable mention) for the play Becket: or the Honour of God (by Jean Anouil) as the lead actor (Becket)in the New England Theater Conference.
