As a teacher, we are responsible for bringing our students to attention and evaluating those who demonstrate possible symptoms for this condition. We, of course, do not diagnose, but can refer students to their parents to get tested. ... More
Len has been working with my son for 3 weeks now. We are VERY pleased with the results. My son has gone from failing Geometry to passing the class. His test scores show how much he understands what he is doing now. Len has gotten him up to date on the current lessons, reviewed the past lessons where my son was struggling and now they have jumped ahead to the next chapter. He is on time and always writes up a complete review of the lesson for us to review later. When I asked my son to rate him he said "4 1/2" stars. Pretty high marks from a 13 year old.

I have successfully tutored students in pre-algebra, algebra, intermediate and advanced algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, physics and SAT preparation.

I motivate the students so there is no room for embarrassment and while the session goes on,taking down notes, mental and actual becomes prominent and the after effect of this first meeting becomes breaking the ice. The student has to be comfortable with the session. The level of difficulty of the student becomes clear and therefore a set of plan can be done making it into a curriculum as a gu... ... More
