Mariana is very patient with my boy. She not only teaches and explains him textbook, but also try to motivate him. Ask him why study the subject, what's the motivation. She let my boy think it over by himself. Her method is to wake the learning heart of student instead of just talking about the material. She is a good teacher.

Robin has a vast knowledge of Spanish, and is an excellent teacher. She does not need books to teach me. I have had 4 or 5 lessons with Robin. I have had 2 months (3 hours a week) learning Spanish in Colombia. I also have had a couple of months of Spanish classes (1 hour a week in Louisville.) Tonight I was writing out sentences in Spanish, and felt like I am beginning to get it. It was all Greek to me in the beginning. I talked to my Fiancee in Colombia last night, and she actually understood some things I was saying in Spanish. Before I was only saying words, but now I can actually speak short sentences. This is a big step for me because I am retired (62) Also I am going to Colombia from Christmas until March, so this will be a big help for me. I am very satisfied and happy I found Robin to teach me.

Chingmin's English is very good, which is important for my son's understanding. You don't always find that in a Mandarin teacher.

The review in English to Japanese translation was helpful since Quinton challenged me to do the translation on my own. He is also patient with my mental blanks when I forget conjugation, vocabulary, etc.
