We hired Jana to tutor for the GRE. She assigned a series of skills tests before the first session to establish a baseline. Thereafter she targeted instruction on weak areas in math, verbal, and writing. She knows what she is doing. She is informed on the structure of the test and she is capable in the skills areas. Jana is thoroughly professional and a very nice person as well. My son felt good about the time he spent with her. There were no hidden charges. We were charged exactly for the time she spent with my son. I would rate her as a top tutor for this kind of exam. We are pleased.

Mark explained strategies and equations in simpler terms that my statistic book didn't provide. Things that were complicated and hard to understand, he made appear easy and comprehensible. Some things in the book were incomprehensible due to the book's strange way of explaining things and making methods more complicated than they actually are. Mark elaborates on the formulas and explains strict rules such as decimal places. He provides simpler definitions without making the explanation too wordy; something the book couldn't avoid. I highly recommend him.

Tina H taught our 16 year old son Pre-Calculus, a very difficult subject for him. My son was having a lot of problems getting good test scores before Tina began tutoring him. Her knowledge of the subject and patience in explaining the subject matter to my son greatly improved his test scores and has helped him immensely this year in Calculus. She is also very easy to work with and flexible in making tutoring appointments.
