I have always had trouble with math. No offense to male tutors, but the last two I had (on my own) made me feel like an idiot. Becky makes me feel very comfortable. She explains things very thoroughly, and goes over them as many times as I need until I understand. She gives me examples and has a warm personality. She works around my hectic schedule, and helps me in a pinch, especially if I am pressed to get something in on time. I am so happy with her and thankful I found her. I am dealing with a personal tragedy that makes it hard to focus and she is so patient. I was drowning in a pool of exponents and "power," but thanks to Becky, I'm staying grounded! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Last semester, my average in organic chemistry hovered around a D+/ C-. I studied for hours and could never fully grasp complex topics either, and not at the fast pace that was required. I tried to solicit the help of friends, but my grade showed little improvement. This semester, I was determined that I could perform a lot better in chemistry than my grade had reflected. When Talha began to work with me, she made Organic chemistry instantly fun. For someone who has a Ph.D in Organic chemistry, you would be hard-pressed to find a tutor that was as affordable and as helpful. I have met with Talha four times this semester and I have an A average after two months. If I had not gotten Talha, my average would most likely be near the class average, which is currently in the D- to D range. With Talha’s help, I have discovered that organic chemistry is not as impossible as it once seemed. Now, I do not have to spend hours studying for orgo because Talha gives me review problems that I should expect to see on my exams. I no longer have to guess which problems I might be tested on or what material the professor is just teaching to fill in the curriculum. Do not be fooled by some of these other tutor’s advertising their proficiency in the "sciences." If you want to do well in orgo, a general chemistry tutor will simply take your money and not help you at all. Also, some tutors advertise their high grades as a qualification to tutor kids in a subject they haven’t taken in years. To get a Ph.D, it takes determination and genuine understanding of the material. As a Pre-Med major, I would like to tell those students who may have not done that well on their first Organic Chemistry test, it’s not too late to recover your grade. Don’t waste your time with someone with a degree in engineering; get someone with degree in Organic chemistry. Get Talha!

Abigail is a very patient tutor and is knowledgeable in many subjects. She is very flexible with her availability and places to meet. Abigail is easy to get along with and makes you feel very comfortable. I went from a C+ in General Chemistry I to an A in General Chemistry II! I highly recommend Abigail for any extra help you need in any of your classes!!
