I would recommend Irma to help with editing your son's / daughter's college application essay. Irma has provided our son with suggestions to improve his essay and corrected grammar / punctuation as needed. Irma is flexible and timely in getting work reviewed and edited. Typically has essay reviewed and returned within a day or two. Knowing the importance of submitting a strong essay to compete with other students, I would highly recommend Irma help your son / daughter with their college essay.

I am a graduate of UC Berkeley with an English major and a history minor and received a M.A.T. degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Education. I tutored fellow students in college and afterward. As a college admissions and financial aid counselor at a high school in Los Angeles, I garnered a lot of experience editing college application essays. In recent years, I have edited writers' manuscripts. I really enjoy helping a writer develop a cogent essay, whether this is a person... ... More

Mr A is a very diligent and punctual teacher. He goes out of his way to schedule time for me within a very short period of time. He is extremely knowledgeable in math and algebra 1and 2. His teaching style is very unique and he makes difficult concepts very easy for me to understand. I was very confused on one topic and called him a day before the exam. He was not only able to get my concepts clear but also helped me to build such confidence that I scored 120% (which includes 20% for extra credit) in the test the next day. That was an amazing achievement for me. I highly recommend Mr A. to all those who would like to build a passion for learning math.

Meher A. - Author, Inventor and Sr. Math Instructor Working with kids facing ADD/ADHD requires Patience, Skill and the desire to reach out to them by giving them the attention they deserve. I have demonstrated that by helping kids facing OCD/ADD/ADHD for over 10-years. In dealing with kids my experience has taught me that: "If you don't give attention, the child will get your attention." I have applied this philosophy specifically in dealing with kids facing attention related challenges and have made a remarkable differen ... More

"CA Multiple Subj Clear Credentialed teacher tutors K-Adult Ed"

I have had over 20 years of experience in the classroom. There have been students in my classroom who have had physical disabilities, ADD, ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, and other challenges. Some showed the outward signs of their challenges, others blended in. Some were diagnosed, others were not but showed signs. Some were on medications, others were not. I have used special accommodations such as sitting closer to the front of the classroom, extra time on tests, larger print tests, colored paper and colored tab organizers, etc. in my classroom. Some students went to speech and language teachers, ... More
