Karen does an excellent job with being flexible, availability, and is really encouraging to clients during her sessions. She is really personable and down to earth. She really takes the time to know and understand her clients. I originally sought out a writing tutor because I thought I was a bad writer. After a few sessions with Karen, I realized that I am not a bad writer. Rather, I am still adjusting to academic writing and need more effective preparation techniques for writing (e.g. outlines, time management regarding drafts, and etc.) in order to accomplish the higher demands placed on writing papers in my current graduate level program. She is fabulous and I recommend her services.

I have been a student of Richard for a few years now, and he had always been an incredible source of help.
He has always been kind and understanding, and one of the things I admire most about him is he always has a smile to share with his students. His attitude is especially encouraging to us student who are already struggling in one way or another and could really use a dose of joy in our day. It's an attitude I've been working on acquiring as well, thanks to his influence. Though for a brooding and moody teenager, it's been a little difficult. In his teachings though, he excels at showing students how to make math easier by explaining it thoroughly from understanding why you're doing what you're doing, to the actual process of working through a problem. He is remarkably patient and understanding for his students that are struggling in their subjects and will go completely out of his way to set up an appointment to help a student when they are struggling immensely.
I've even broken down more than once in front of him when I was overcome with stress over a subject that I push so hard to achieve in and received only marginal results. Every time he's been extremely understanding and sympathetic and always strategically seeks to help me find a way to achieve once more in my subject of struggle.

Dave has been absolutely great with my daughter. He is very patient and explains mathematical concepts that are understandable for her. He is a great Math tutor and well worth the price.
