Diana has been working with my 8 year old daughter for the past couple of months. She has done a great job in helping my child progress in her reading and sound/word identification and comprehension. Diana is very skillful in applying the Orton-Gillingham framework for teaching with a systematic and multi-sensory approach. Diana is highly intelligent and creative and is able to keep my child's attention with a multitude of interesting facts and a variety of learning opportunities. She is in tune with my daughter's mood and draws her in to make the learning seem more like fun than work. She is reliable and conscientious in her work, and is willing to share information and resources so that we can continue to reinforce my daughter's learning throughout the week. Diana's lesson summaries are thorough and descriptive and provide me with clear information as to my daughter's lesson plans, her progress, and her current learning needs. Diana is a very kind and thoughtful lady who has been very nice for my daughter and I to work with. We recommend her as a tutor.

I searched for the appropriate tutor for my daughter for 2 weeks and then I found Kristen. Perfect match! Kristen is the most awesome tutor. She understands the kids, very patient, pleasant and ensures that they grasp the concept before she leaves. What adds to my comfort is he fact that she is very accessible by phone. My daughter says, Mom Kristen makes me feel so comfortable with Math. My fear is gone. This is the exact goal I wanted for her. As a parent, I feel confident that my daughter will finally pass her Geometry classes and happy that Kristen is there to provide the support and confidence that she needs to succeed. I recommend Kristen to anyone who is searching for a superior Math tutor. You will feel lucky to have met her.

Hi and thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. If I can help you with what you're looking for, please get in touch! What distinguishes me from many other tutors? I just graduated from medical school on April 28, 2017, and as a result of the tremendous volume of information that medical students are expected to retain, I've had to learn to use techniques, tips and tricks that help convert new information into long term memory so that I can learn more new information as it c... ... "Ivy League Tutor"

My name is Jason, and I am a current freshman at Brown University! I am concentrating in biology, and I plan on attending medical school after I graduate college. I have been tutoring since my sophomore year of high school, and I have tutored a multitude of subjects, including math, Spanish, and science. The most rewarding part of being a tutor for me is seeing that "lightbulb moment" for a student, when they finally understand a topic. Seeing a student progress through a course, and workin... ... Daniel started with our son (7) about two weeks ago. We relocated from Germany about 7 months ago and our son still struggles with his English. Daniel quickly figured out the specific needs of our son (communication) and prepares a lot of different methods to teach (reading books, preparing paper strips with questions, telling stories and asks our son about the content). After the lesson, he provides feedback about the learning progress and helps us to find ways to improve our son's English skills at home ourselves. Daniel is a professional, engaged, well prepared teacher and our son likes to work with him very much.

Through my process of elementary teacher certification through the state of New Hampshire, I studied how best to teach students with ADD/ADHD. I learned more about how to help students with ADD/ADHD when I completed my master's in school leadership at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Having worked as an elementary teacher, I have classroom experience working with students with ADD/ADHD. I approach each student individually. These students showed some of the following behaviors: disorganized, forgetful or unaware of deadlines, behavior inconsistency, lack of maturity, difficulty concen ... More

Geometry and Algebra 1, she is very patient and extremely knowledgeable, she knows all formulas for geometry and algebra off the top of her head and is able to teach me in a way I understand it!
I had the pleasure of having Ajay as a Calculus 1 tutor about a year ago. He was the only tutor that could explain things simply and in a way that was well absorbed. If I ever need a tutor for math in the future, Ajay will absolutely be the first one I call!
