I am a classically trained pianist. I have four degrees in piano performance (BM, MM, Artist Diploma, DMA). I currently teach piano in a university. I have taught beginners to very advanced students ranging from elementary students to doctorate students. I also teach tonal music theory. I was cast for the Miles Gloriosus, or the Braggart Soldier, for the 2001 UCLA Classics Latin Production of Auricula Meretricula, a play the entire dialogue of which consisted of Latin. I was also cast for the lead love interest role (Amado) for the 2000 UCLA Pilipino Cultural Night show at UCLA, a play the entire dialogue of which consisted of a mixture of English and Tagalog or Filipino. Piano, ballet, sewing, and crocheting are all difficult art forms to learn. They can be very frustrating for the student at times.
