Judy is such great helper. She is very knowledgeable and I was very comfortable with her. She listened to what my needs were, and was able to help me get through my tests. With her help, I passed the class with a better grade than I expected.

We needed an algebra tutor for my 8th grade daughter as during placement exams she was noted as "a year behind" her peers in her new school. We were advised to revise 5 sections of the Algebra book that they used. I was expecting to have to have a tutor every week for a few months at least but Maria was able to get my daughter caught up in about 4 sessions during August. I was pleasantly surprised when after two weeks of school on the first parent's night the algebra instructor specifically mentioned that my daughter was completely caught up with her peers.
One thing I've also noticed is how neat my daughter's work is now. Before Maria my daughter's work was all over the page and a scribbled mess. Her presentation is now not just neat, but very beautiful with the use of colors in her lines and graphs. I'm not sure if Maria influenced the artistry in algebra but my daughter no longer rushes through the work to "get it done" but instead actually ENJOYS spending time on her algebra homework.

"Reading Intervention Specialist - phonics based"
Many parents wonder whether or not a phonics based reading program is the best for their child. One of the unique qualities of teaching someone to read using a phonics method is it lays a strong foundation for the 40 plus sounds in the English language. Furthermore, poor readers cannot escape the sinking hole of being a poor speller, too. As a reading specialist, I am dedicated to helping struggling readers. I teach vowel and consonant sounds, digraphs, spelling, vocabulary, affixes, and gram... ... More
