After Francesca started tutoring my son, his grade jumped to a B- in just two months. I can tell that Francesca loves teaching and is interested in student success. Also, she's up to date with technology, incorporating use of computer apps in learning (new apps for iPad and iPhone)that are popular with tech savvy kids. She is very involved in the teaching process, following up with the Spanish teacher in school about lessons plans, quizzes and tests. I would recommend Francesca to anyone that is interested in learning Spanish or improving their performance in Spanish class.

I have worked with many students with ADD/ADHD. As a tutor, I find that the one-on-one interaction gives the ability to foster a strong interpersonal relationship that gives the student the flexibility to refocus his energy. With students diagnosed with ADD it is essential that we maximize the students' ability to concentrate. I thus teach the students in a calm environment and often give students checklists (agendas) of what they will learn that day, which allows the student to focus more clearly because they can anticipate what will come next. ... Dear Potential Student,
As a by-product of both off-ground and online learning, I have a strong desire to help students achieve their educational goals like my instructors have done for me. Likewise, I have had the privilege to work at a busy local hospital in departments such as trauma, emergency, and telemetry and an ambulatory care setting ... ... More

In 1976, at the age of thirteen, I asked my mother to sell everything she owned; which wasn’t much and purchase stock in Chrysler Corporation. It was the first company I did research on and I understood that this country would never let Chrysler go into bankruptcy. The company’s stock was selling for $3.00 per share and Lee Iacocca was hired as the company’s CEO and savior. My mother, a single woman, raising four children, said to me “Boy, I’m trying to take care of you and your brothers and ... ... More
I had opportunity to receive tutoring from Charles and it was a great experience! As per my request, he took the time to explain in detail the subject for me from the beginning, making valuable notes, showing me real life examples, and giving me time to reflect, make my own notes over what was discussed, and even attempting few exercises, which was great so I could fix what was learned! He also made sure we did a quick overview of all I've learned at the end, making sure I did not have any questions. Another great thing about Charles is that he is offering to work with me in a schedule that is good for me (even Saturday and Sunday) and he seems to be willing to work hard as much as I need to help me achieve my goals. Not mentioning he really knows about Accounting! For that, I am thankful as well!
