I am a French MBA student. As I am currently looking for a job, I really needed help crafting my cover letters. Over the past few months, Robert has been a terrific tutor. Not only does he propose better ways to phrase and shape my letters, but he also provides great insights and new ideas, and suggestions to improve my grammar. It is very helpful. My letters are so much better now, and my style has really improved. Also, Robert is supportive and enthusiastic. I have a very quick turn-around time on the documents he reviews. You will enjoy Robert as a tutor and find him very professional.

"M.A. Student Specializing in Grammar, Composition, Reading, Tests"
Being in school or involved with some type of educational experience has always been central to my life. Now I am a graduate student in English and Creative Writing, so I'm actively involved in the educational process once again. I'm familiar with the GRE and with essay tests in general. I know what it is to face a standardized test with complicated questions basically designed to lull the test-taker into selecting false answers.
Everybody needs a learning strategy. Sometimes, we als... ... More

"Excited to help you improve!"
As a regular education teacher, I have voluntarily worked closely with the drafting and implementation of IEPs for students exhibiting a wide variety of academic, social, and behavioral disabilities, one of the most common of which being ADD/ADHD. I have also taken part in committees to observe and evaluate student behavior in order to aid in diagnosis. In working with both medicated and non-medicated students with symptoms of ADD, I have sought out and implemented classroom strategies to best engage these active learners. Through detailed observation and variation of instructional strategies, ... More

Lee has been wonderful! She is a creative teacher who helps draw the best out of our ADD 5th grader. She is teaching him strategies for writing that are helping him become much more comfortable with the process. Her patience and desire to find the best way to work with our son have been a godsend. And she was even willing to help when he was having a meltdown about needing a tutor. She stepped right in to help him understand that there's no shame associated with getting help. He went from hysterical to happy and engaged in about 15 minutes with Lee's help. He looks forward to the days she comes and I love that I hear the two of them chatting and laughing, all while he is learning!
