I had many classes with Judy. I enjoyed learning english with her. She uses creative ways to teach. She is friendly and nice. I couldn't continue with her because of my pregnancy. I was planning to continue after I had my baby but we moved to another city. I would recommend Judy if someone ask me.

Ruth was very helpful. I brought in a short list of what I wanted to focus on and we were able to work through a majority of it during the first session. We each took a couple things away from the session and will be meeting again in two weeks. Very helpful and friendly.

I studied piano for many years as a child and teenager. I entered and won local and statewide piano competitions, attended the National Music Camp, taught piano to the neighborhood kids, played in recitals, did some ensemble work, etc. My freshman year in college I was a music major but after one year decided as much as I loved music and the piano, I didn't want to make it my life's work. It is a beautiful side interest that I am fortunate to have cultivated early on.
As an adult I play piano for the pure enjoyment of it! I am interested in teaching beginner adult students. Although I am not ... More

I have been working for University of Chicago Hospitals as a web developer. At my job, I created web applications in Visual Studio.NET environment using C# or VB.NET programming language. This course can be considered as a more advance course, since you have to know at least one object oriented programming language. A visual studio.NET software is also required to create an ASP.NET web application. Here, you can create one or more webforms that you can publish as a website with a .aspx extension. You can design the webform by adding tools such as textboxes, labels, buttons, datagrid. You can c ... More

Always quality sessions with David, he truly wants the children to learn and do well. My daughter was struggling to read the book Hunger Games, she just wasn't able to connect. She was frustrated because all her friends loved the book. She was going to give up and choose another book and David was determined to get her to understand and want to continue with the book. After working with her, he was successful, she is now almost done with the book and loves it and can't wait to read the sequels.

I enjoyed a nearly three-decade career as an English teacher of middle school and gifted high school students. During that time, most of which I also served as a department chair at a local Day School, I created and administered material covering every aspect of the English curriculum, including, most importantly, composition and literature, as well as grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and speech. I also inaugurated and led several interdisciplinary initiatives, sometimes administering a program... ... More

We had Amy tutor my daughter, who is in 5th grade, to work on her reading and comprehension. She was fabulous! She asked all about my daughter's likes and dislikes getting to know the total child. She really honed in on where my daughter can find answers in text while helping her improve her words per minute. We look forward to many more sessions with Amy.
