Good day, learners! My name is Zobia and I am a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. First a bit about myself and my qualifications: Despite pursuing chemistry from high school till now, I have a longer history with tutoring. During high school, I was a math and reading tutor at Kumon. In college, I was a college level mathematics and sciences tutor at Temple's Math and Science resource center and taught for a wide range of goals (classes, exams, college entran... ... More

Aashita is very patient, she takes the time to explain everything and she makes quite sure that you understand the concept before she moves on. Great tutor and if I say so it's true because I am very hard to please. She also has a great personality.

My love for teaching stems from a lifelong love of learning. For the past ten years, I have had the pleasure of helping students on campus and outside of campus in various subjects. My Master in Education gave me the opportunity to teach students of all ages, from 5 years old to 50 years old. This is truly the best job I've ever had.

My daughter gushed, "Mr. Donovan made it easier to understand. I can't wait to take my test!" Apparently he made the content clearer. She seems more confident in approaching the material and the Algebra class in general. Update: She scored a one hundred percent on the most recent test! Thanks Donovan!

I used MatLAB during my junior and senior year of college to help model civil engineering problems. I took a semester-long class that involved projects created in MatLAB, and learning the essentials of the programming language. My specialty is helping novice users become more comfortable with the software. ... More

I have to admit, I was looking for the cheapest tutor I could find, so Peter was not my first choice. But, I'm very glad I decided to meet with him. He is honestly the best tutor I've ever had. He takes the time to figure out where the root of my problems with algebra begin, instead of doing the work for me. He also explains everything in great detail and shows me shortcuts.
We've already covered order of operations, PEMDAS, distribution, the FOIL method, exponents of numbers, variables and parentheses as well as factoring. All of these topics were covered in 2 sessions and I fully understand all of them now.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Peter K. as a tutor. He is reliable and is helping me because he wants me to do well, not just to make a little extra cash.

"Oxford PhD Math Tutor - High School, College, GRE"
My qualification for tutoring GMAT is based upon (1) my academic record and (2) my workplace experience. Academic achievements include a BS (with honors)in Applied Physics and a Doctorate in Engineering Physics from Oxford University. This academic background requires considerably more advanced mathematical and analytical skills than are required for the GMAT. On the management front, I moved from a staff position at Oxford University to industry in 1974 as a section manager for the aerospace division of a privately owned instrumentation company. In 1982 I set up a subsidiary company specializ ... More
