Vincent has proven to be an excellent tutor! He is always punctual, and he has really helped our son understand some difficult math concepts. Most importantly, our son, who initially opposed the idea of even considering a tutor, is very happy with Vincent. That, in itself, speaks volumes!

I am a 43 year-old male with Asperger's. I have developed a remarkable set of coping skills during my lifetime that I have put to use in the attainment of multiple college degrees, the founding and ownership of a successful business for close to 20 years, and the development of a variety of coping mechanisms for my two children, both of whom have Asperger's. I have also assisted neurotypicals with their understanding and awareness of those of us with Asperger's through my work with such groups as Focus and the MHA. I may not have an advanced degree in Special Education or Psychology; howeve ... More

Peter A. has been working with my son for several months now tutoring pre-calculus, and in that time my son has improved two letter grades. Mr. A is patient, knowledgeable, and flexible with his scheduling, and my son likes him and likes working with him. I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend Mr. A to anyone that needs help in pre-calculus.

"Effective Math and Test Prep Tutor"
Math and other subjects often seem like foreign languages to students. I act as an interpreter, helping students to understand concepts intuitively.
Education is more than just a transfer of information. The very act of learning provides an opportunity for students to learn processes for problem solving and other skills. I encourage and instruct students in the development of these processes. This results in improved study habits as well as improved grades.
In addition to information tran... ... More

Our son was struggling with Calc 2 in college when we found Danilo to help him. We were impressed with his credentials and the fact that he also tutors linear algebra and physics, which will also be difficult classes for our son. What we found was that he had a great rapport with our son, was very patient and explained things in a useful way to him. He was also very flexible in terms of scheduling. Our son's grades started going back up, and he finished the semester by passing Calc 2.
We would highly recommend Danilo!

Cheryl is the tutor for my two boys one 8 year old and one 10 year old both of which have ADHD and were several reading levels behind in school. Since they started tutoring with Cheryl both have made huge improvements in their reading levels and are now able to remain in there class all day as opposed to having to leave the classroom for one on one teaching like they have since they started school. In addition both have made great improvements in math as well as all other classes. She has found ways to motivate both of my boys to work and for the first time in their lives they are excited about reading and look forward to going to the library or book store.
