Kelly has been working with my son in math and writing skills. My son struggles with attention and Kelly has proven to be extremely patient with him. He really enjoys being tutored by Kelly and she keeps the lessons interesting. Kelly is very flexible and is more than willing to learn new ways to teach in order to keep my son focused. I highly recommend this tutor if you are looking for someone kind, patient and understanding.

Polly S.

Polly helps motivate and tutor our 6 year old son in phonics, reading, writing, etc. He has a dx of highly functioning Aspergers and ADHD. Polly is very patient with him yet establishes clear boundaries. He desperately wants to learn but has trouble focusing. Polly is able to keep him on track during sessions and recognizes when he needs a break. He will work the entire session for her with just one small break. She comes to every session with seemingly numerous back-up plans to keep him engaged. She is always punctual and thorough. After every session she makes herself available to discuss the lesson and address any concerns or questions. She posts an extremely detailed lists of each lesson plan after they're done and likes to incorporate homework from his school, like Spelling. Most importantly, it's apparent that her first priority is the child. She really seems to consider our son's specific needs and challenges and tailors his lessons accordingly. He respects her and looks forward to his lessons with her. We continue to use her on a regular basis.

Jack was hired to help my son study for his entrance exam into the military. He has an in-depth knowledge of what my son needs to know. His no nonsense and honest approach is much appreciated. Jack never hesitates to go the extra mile, providing my son with the extra tools that will help better prepare him. He even got him a library card! I always get an immediate update regarding that day's sessions, which allows me to stay involved in the process. I would recommend Jack to anyone looking for a great tutor!

Frances did a great job helping me to improve my painting. I had had great difficulty finding a way to learn classical painting techniques before Frances. Contemporary art and artists seem to skip over the basics. Frances helped me learn incredible techniques - simple and complex - that vastly improved my painting in only a few months! She knows an endless amount and will never hesitate to help you. If you email her with a question expect a bizarrely prompt essay in reply (in a good way). She is so detailed and careful with communicating her teachings. If you're in a tutor session with Frances, make sure to bring a notebook or else you'll miss a lifetime of teachings! She is also great for helping out with college applications--of finally getting those classic still-lifes and self portraits done. She helped me build my portfolio in just two months! Frances is a phenomenal tutor, I don't think I could have chosen a better one. I wish I could have brought her to England with me where I recently just moved.
Peter is GREAT! He is patient, and explains things thoroughly. He has a lot of knowledge and is able to simplify things for the student. He came with a bunch of his own supplementary material, notes/shortcuts etc. I would recommend him to anyone at any age. So thankful I found him.
