My son met with Dr. S this summer to brush up on research writing skills before beginning college in the fall. With Dr. S's guidance, he completed a great paper, and is heading off to school feeling confident and ready for what lies ahead. To put it in his words, "I learned more in one summer with a tutor (Dr. S) than I did in four years of high school English." While I'm sure he learned a couple things in high school, working with Dr. S this summer allowed him to learn the process of writing a "research paper," which he never did in high school, inspite of being in all "honors" English classes. I feel our investment with Dr. S was more than worth it. He is a very knowledgeable and pleasant teacher, and both my son and I were very satisfied with his tutoring!
