Bill was great! Punctual, friendly and easy to reach. My son tried in vain to get off topic as he does not enjoy math; however, Bill was able to redirect him. This was a positive experience for my son which is comforting for me as a parent. I would highly recommend Bill if your child needs math help. I know that if my son needs help in the future, Bill will be my first choice.

"NY State Certified Math Teacher"
Greetings,
Let me start by saying, that although I am a certified teacher, I do not teach in a classroom and I do not wish to. By being a professional tutor and tutoring for as long as I have, I have been able to learn so many techniques for solving the same types of problems. This allows me to be able to adapt my instruction in order to effectively teach you in a one-on-one setting, no matter your personal learning style.
I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in secondary education... ... More

Anne wasted no time jumping into the first lesson plan and was very prepared. One lesson and my daughter feels more confident and discovered pointers she never would have picked up on her own.

Amanda is very easy to talk to and very patient. She brings things down so that you are able to understand the concept or topic on your own terms. She is very knowledgeable in your subject area and is not afraid to say she doesn't know and will find out the answer if need be. She is very personable, confident, and works to find out what you know about the topic. She is not adverse in trying different ways to get you what you need to know. I would recommend Amanda to any one who is looking for a tutor. She is a good teacher and very easy and comfortable to work with. I am glad that my first experience with a tutor has been such a positive one.

"History of any kind"
Dear students and parents,
I have recently graduated. My major is education with a concentration in history and political science. During my college years I have taken close to 130 credit hours. A majority of my credit hours have been devoted to multiple areas of history including European, American, African, Asian and Hispanic. I have volunteered with multiple after-school programs where I was a tutor and a mentor for middle school and high school students. I really enjoyed my time with the... ... More

Arla is the best tutor. She really takes the time to individualize her way of teaching to fit my child. I would recommend this website as well as Arla to anyone wanting their child's education to blossom and really come to life! Thank you so much!

Carmen has been a great tutor for my son in Spanish. She motivates and encourages him and it shows in his school work.

Paul is an excellent tutor. So far, he has been thorough and detail oriented in his weekly observations and evaluation. He sets very high standards for my son and paces him appropriately to achieve his goals. He assigns homework that is challenging but doable within the span of a week.
