Michael arrives on time and clearly has a great command of Spanish. He is prompt with returning emails and I feel that he fills each hour of tutoring appropriately. We know no Spanish at all so this is a challenge for any tutor, but Michael was not afraid to take on the role. He is tutoring four people at the same time of all different ages. He uses many examples to illustrate his points.

My daughter has now been with Cynthia, her tutor, for three sessions. We will be seeing her for more sessions. So far, my daughter has said that Cynthia is patient, a great teacher and helps her understand concepts she didn't understand before. My daughter has always struggled with being afraid of asking too many questions for fear that the teacher might get annoyed or not like her. She has asked Cynthia multiple questions on a particular concept and my daughter says she never once shows any sort of annoyance or disturbance by those questions. My daughter says that Cynthia always shows her a way to understand something she has not gotten. She makes sure the concept has been understood by giving my daughter problems to work through to make sure everything has connected for her. My daughter feels confident in herself, in her understanding, of the Algebra I concepts they have gone over so far. She feels that with Cynthia's help and tutoring, she will be able to pull herself out of the hole she was in in Algebra I and come out of the class with a good, final grade.
