Nick helped greatly with an overall understanding of the Calculus class and strategies for approaching the final which were very successful
Zoheb always takes the material from my classes and translates it in a way that makes sense. Whether it be from a textbook or from a lecture he is always able to help me understand what is important. On top of that he is often able to provide me with examples on the spot which are superb for practice. I can honestly say that I would be struggling without his help.
My son has been working with Rose for about 3 months now and it is amazing to watch him get excited about all the new concepts that Rose is exposing him to. We started off with the intention of having Rose tutor him in advanced Algenbra/Geometry concepts, but based on the first few interactions Rose suggested a slightly different problem-solving based approach and we were open to try it. It has been a fantastic experience for our son as he is getting exposed to concepts such as algorithm based solving, Monte Carlo simulations etc. way earlier than we would have otherwise! With the beginning of summer, we have actually increased Rose's lesson frequency to 2/week as our son requested/demanded it. They are now working on Python programming and utilizing those tools for complex problem solving as well as coding.
What I like about Rose is that she is thoroughly prepped for any session, takes the pains to explain her overall goal and plan of implementation, has fun energetic sessions and relates to our 12 year old in ways parents sometimes cant!
We appreciate what Rose has done so far and look forward to a long and fruitful session w her. Our 8 yr old is already campaigning to have her own session w Rose!
