For those looking for any level of French tutoring, I would highly recommend Carole. As Carole grew up in France, she brings a wonderful perspective on cultural nuances as well as the geographical differences in the French language. She has an excellent grasp on the technical aspects of the language as well as the colloquial aspects. Carole is very pleasant to work with; is patient with the learning process as well as with the explanations often needed; is flexible and is consistently supportive throughout your progress. Beyond simply teaching from an instructional guide, Carole also tries to identify other ways to increase exposure to the French language including a book club she runs, magazines, internet sites, radio links, and other such modalities. I would highly recommend Michael G. as a tutor. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me during our session. I have been out of the academic arena for nearly two decades and have lost a lot with regard to the topic I was being tutored on as well as accompanying skills needed to successfully navigate the course assignments. Michael did not rush through the session and just hand out answers but took the time to actually impart how we arrived at the solutions.
I would like to say at first I was hesitant and was unsure of WyzAnt. However Larry has made it very easy for me to gain trust. He is very prompt and has respond to all my emails. I would not want to leave out that he is very intelligent.
