201 Glen Oaks Music Tutors and Lessons

Learning to read music or becoming competent at playing a musical instrument is something that can bring a lot of joy, nevertheless, it can prove to be difficult, and this a good reason why you should give some serious thought to Glen Oaks music lessons. Getting private music lessons is one way in which you can gain more confidence in using a new instrument or when the time comes to learn to read sheet music. There are a lot of advantages to gaining access to private music lessons, and even if you are not learning a new instrument for a school or college exam, you can still benefit from personal tutoring even if you are learning a new instrument for your own personal pleasure and entertainment.

Krishna Alexandra is an excellent voice teacher. She is always positive in her approach, arrives promptly and is prepared. Krishna is patient and thorough with her explanations and is also willing to not only listen to my daughter's (age 11) opinions, but she clearly "hears" what she has to say. I would highly recommend Krishna to anyone who is serious about wanting to improve their vocal skills.

"Pianist. Mentor. Lifelong Student"

As musicians, we tend to dive deep into our own subconscious, discovering the new beauties that are hidden within us. We make our own individual unique creations to portray our own way of thinking. The first time I remember having a strong attraction to music was when I was about seven years old. This was when I had sat down and payed serious attention to my mother playing piano in my house. She had been playing a classical piece by Chopin. It was the level of technique and harmo... ... More

Rudy is an excellent tutor! By far one of the best tutors I have ever had. He took the time to create day by day lesson plans, find questions for me to do while revising on my own (with an answer sheet) as well as find me books that would help me on the specific parts of economics I was having trouble with. He is great at explaining concepts in a way that I could understand. I was in particular having trouble with calculations, but he cleared all those problems right up! I would highly recommend Rudy to anyone who needed help in economics! He definitely made the subject interesting and fun to learn!
My Daughter Kayla was struggling in her first year of high school math. She was always a straight A student in all her subjects including math. We never needed or considered a tutor until half way through her first semester of 9th grade Geometry, she had a C-. She was panicked so we asked Diana to work with her for an hour per week. They ended up working together throughout the year and the results were a B+ first marking period then A-, A and A for the others. Diana was knowledgeable, patient and best of all, proactive in working with Kayla. She would follow up on lessons and really cared about Kayla's results. I really appreciated the way she would call or e-mail after the lesson with more information or a tip she may have forgotten. It was clear to me that it wasn't just about getting her hour in. On top of all of this, she is a very pleasant person and nice to be around. Thank you Diana for all your help!
