I would highly recommend Scott for improving social studies skills. Scott is very prompt in replying, flexible with scheduling, and excellent teacher. He helped my son understand the subject better by reviewing before the test. This helped my son to score significantly higher on his test.

"Spanish tutor. American born, raised in southern Spain"
I was born in Chicago, IL and due to my parent's divorce, ended up being raised in southern Spain, in Fuengirola, (Malaga). Although I've known for a long time that my first language was English, I've never remembered when I "didn't" know Spanish. Culturally speaking, it's always been like I had a foot in both countries. My main contact with the States was English, especially when coming every other year to visit my father's parents in Chicago, IL.

Joe is very patient and thorough. Joe has only worked with my son for a couple of weeks, but I have noticed some improvement in his work. Not only is he tapping into the needed curriculum explanations, but he's helping him hone in on skills that will make him a success in any subject.

The one lesson I spent with my tutor was great. The reason I only did one lesson was due to the fact that i was leaving the state for a while. She was able to help me out and was quite patient with me. I would recommend her to any student or person interested in learning the language.
