I believe in tutoring in a fully rounded style, accounting for the experience and strengths of each individual student. I try to not only encourage a love of literature in my students, but also an ability to succeed in all aspects of formal education. ... ... More
"Professional Actor and Writer"
As a classically trained actor, I've played numerous roles from Shakespeare and Moliere to Henrik Ibsen and Arthur Miller and have appeared in many feature and independent films spanning from Disney to National Geographic, from the Civil War to modern times. Arthur makes himself easily available for tutoring Chemistry and Geometry at the Science Labs at Westminster College, a wonderful building and Athur's natural environment. If you are lucky, you may come upon him wearing his protective goggles and his white coat, a skateboard leaning against the nearby wall. Arthur's excitement about science comes across loud and clear; translating basic chemistry text into interesting language and ideas that really grabbed my 15 year old son.
DB is getting good grades because of Arthur's explanations, quizzing and sincere interest in transmitting what he understands of his subject to another person. He is just the kind of person you want to adjoin a regular class. He encourages a different way of looking at the same subjects.
Have you ever seen Dexter's Laboratory??

I am a beekeeper, and my principle role at Animal Jam is to present on camera to produce educational videos about animals, primarily bees and other insects.
I have been guided by the International Baccalaureate program, and have traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica, Columbia, Pan... ... More

I am a student who has always had a huge struggle with chemistry and I have tried a few different tutors, and Meghan definitely has been the best! She is extremely helpful in filling in the blanks that I miss from class or that the teacher forgets to mention. She also has been extremely helpful when it comes to breaking down the problem so that it is easier for me to solve. She tests my knowledge by asking me questions after I solve a question to make sure that I understand where I got my answer from and why that is the answer. I would greatly recommend Meghan as a tutor for chemistry.
