Ms. J is an awesome tutor. She has been helping my child with Language Arts and has done a great job in improving his weak areas. She is very creative captures his attention with his assignments and lessons. She has spent a lot of time communicating with the teacher to get progress reports of his areas of improvement. I would highly recommend Ms. J.
3/26/14: I highly recommend Ms. Jones. Her lessons have been very valuable! This is money well spent. After 6 weeks of her tutoring our son, we saw a huge improvement in his language arts and writing. A note from his teacher: "Mrs. Mom, thank you for the email. Just to add a smile to your day - please let your son know that he was awarded a Language Arts Extra Effort Award for quarter 3! Way to go! He raised his LA average by 9 points this quarter!"

My name is Alyson (although I go by Bailey, my middle name). In May 2017, I graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College with an Exercise Science major and a minor in Spanish. While in college, aside from my extracurricular obligations, I found myself helping my peers in various classes. This niche in college led me to become a tutor on Wyzant! I have a passion for learning and being able to explain a difficult topic to someone in simpler terms so that they may strengthen th... ... More

It's been a pleasure to deal with Corey and we can highly recommend him to others. He's very accommodating and willing to schedule lessons when they would be most convenient and useful. He didn't just stop by to help out with homework problems; instead, he diagnosed what was going on and then pro-actively developed a strategy to help our student succeed. After each lesson, he provides detailed feedback to both parents and student, and he's consistently positive and encouraging in his remarks. This helps to keep parents in the loop and makes it easy for the student to feel good about the process. Over the course of a six-week period, we’ve seen a dramatic improvement in grades that was much better than we expected or thought possible. So as I said, we can recommend Corey: he works smart and gets results.

I was looking for a tutor for my daughter during the summer months and I'm so excited that I found Aaron. He is perfect! Aaron is not only super intelligent and knowledgeable, but he can relate well with children and engage them. Aaron questions my daughter in a way that makes her really think. He creates awesome lesson plans that are creative and customized for your child. He is a certified online tutor and makes that medium so fun and seamless. I love the way he explains things to my daughter; in a way that is interesting and clear. I also appreciate his positive and encouraging personality.
If you're looking for a top notch tutor, Aaron is the best choice!
