Anthony began by assessing my knowledge of Italian and determining how best to help me reach my goals. I have taken Italian lessons intermittently over several years, but I am decidedly out of practice. Anthony balanced review of basics with engaging me in simple conversations, which were supported by vocabulary review. Anthony provided just the jump start I needed to recommence my study of conversational Italian.
Before I spoke with Eli, working on my college essays seemed a daunting task as I had a lot of good ideas, but they were generally unorganized. Eli used his experience working as an admissions officer to help me focus on the core points I needed to make while still making sure my essays would be interesting and fresh. It was a pleasure working with him and great to get the confidence needed to finally put my essays together!
During my search for a Statistics tutor, I found Vince's profile and liked what I read so I sent an e-mail and from there it was an easy process to set up lessons. He was a perfect match for me as his knowledge of Statistics was exactly what I needed. Vince exceeded my expectations of a tutor as this was my first time reaching out to one. He was so patient and was able to explain the basic fundamentals in a way that was easy for me to relate to. Vince asked questions that made me realize I had a better understanding of Statistics that I thought. He also showed me that I use it in my daily life and didn't even realize it. I would not only use Vince again, I've been telling everyone about my lessons with Vince. I wish my school professors were as patient and detailed in their explanations when teaching statistics. In my opinion, Vince was just what I needed to complete my assignments knowing I actually understood what I was doing by the time I submitted them to my professor.
