1 Heth Language Tutors

We were looking for a tutor to help our son improve his grades in Language Arts. Janelle G. met with me prior to starting lessons and outlined a plan of action. We had one specific area--writing, that Janelle G. was able to provide a formula to help with the basics of writing sentences and also was clear of how she was going to approach his difficulties in essay writing. At this time we have a set number of classes in mind (more because of my son who tends to works better with short-term specific goals). I have found him to be more confident and actually enjoyed writing a class required essay after our first class. I believe that Janelle G. will be able to work with him patiently to understand the building blocks of good writing. I am confident that he will actually look forward to essay writing and that it will also provide the foundation of how to approach essay type questions. 3/3/14 We have had three lessons with Janelle and we can see improvement in my son's approach to writing. His LA teacher has told me that she sees progress in his methodology. We also see that he better understands how to approach essay writing and now has clear goals in his writing approach. Janelle has helped organize his thoughts, improve his methods and his writing score is improving with her guidance and help. She is positive and enthusiastic and makes an effort to attend to his and our questions in order to achieve the goals we outlined.

Jennifer is a very patient tutor with new ideas on how to explain the information so not to overwhelm the student. My daughter has gained a lot in just a few sessions with Jennifer. I would recommend her to others!
