We have been using Joseph since October 2010 to help my high school daughter with Calculus. The subject is not easy, let alone finding a tutor who can explain the material well. After few tries, we finally found Joseph - he is God send!
Very knowledgeable, patient and has helped my daughter tremendously, she now understands what is going on in the class and was able to bring her grade from failing to passing, all with Joseph's help.
I HIGHLY recommend this tutor!

"Higher Level Mathematics Tutor"
I hold two Bachelor's Degrees: one in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University and the second in Land Surveying Science from NJIT. I enjoy connecting with the students to help them with difficulty they are having with math or science. I truly enjoy seeing the light bulb go on over their heads when we are able to make a breakthrough. Over the past few years, I have tutored students within WMTPS and the Kinnelon school system. I taught mathematics at Palm Beach Community College w... ... More
I found Bill to have a broad knowledge of French, both spoken, grammatically and the historical roots of the words. I believe he has the skill and knowledge to help me with my goals of developing my French from tourist exchanges to a conversational level. And I think we will have fun in this process, which I also call part of my Alzheimer’s Prevention Program.
I also was impressed with Bill as a very scholarly and interesting person; and I will have to discipline myself to stay on subject with him. I suspect he would be an excellent tutor in Spanish and other linguistic studies as his knowledge of the origin of word roots is quite profound. He also seems to have a remarkable sense of sounds and the sounding of the words.
I'm looking forward to my next lesson!

"French, Latin and Spanish Tutor - English Grammar and ESL"
I am a graduate of Fordham University (1980) with a major in Classics (Latin and Ancient Greek). My mother was from France so French was the first language I heard in the home. While at college I pursued other Romance languages, and also have a general knowledge of other languages (both European and non-Indo-European).
I spent some time at NYU on Classical Arabic and Modern Hebrew, and was a regular assistant in several small home-school groups working with students in Latin and algebra.

"Patient, Certified TEFL Tutor, Spanish B.A."
I am a recent graduate of Seton Hall University and I love to tutor! I was an ESL tutor for immigrants in South Orange, NJ and have also served as a private Spanish tutor. As a Spanish major, I understand how hard it can be to learn a new language and how rewarding it is to see your grades improve. It makes me genuinely happy to see that same happiness that I felt in the students that I tutor.
I am a certified TEFL instructor and have held the certification for two years now. I have recen... ... More
