I am very glad that we found Frances to tutor my daughter, who is a high functioning autistic child, for painting and drawing. My daughter loves to draw and tends to use it to compensate her impaired ability of communication. But like other children on the spectrum, she has limited attention span, repetitive behaviors and narrow interests in terms of topics of drawings. After a few months of weekly lessons with Frances, my daughter was able to do easel painting and produced varies forms of artwork. Frances is a loving teacher who has formal art education and is experienced working with people on autism spectrum disorder. She is very patient with my daughter and always can find ways to deal with her constantly strayed attention and mind. My daughter likes to come to Frances’ home studio and always felt it was fun to dump all her ideas to the paper in front of her. I am amazed that she could focus for such a long time. Overall, Frances is a great teacher and I am looking forward to seeing my daughter learn new painting skills and produce more meaningful artwork.

Tia arrived on time, she was very professional and ready to get to work with my son. My son needs help with reading and comprehension to reach his grade level. She made sure to bring learning material that would get him interested. He says that he is looking forward to his next lesson with her. Tia was very easy to reach and made sure to kept in communication with me and answered any questions I needed answered. Her personal approach is much appreciated and I'm happy I found her.

Our 4th grader has been struggling in both math and reading. Avital S. has now come to our home twice and both times has done a great job helping our son feel comfortable and excited to learn. She has come prepared with lessons that are educational, as well as fun. While staying focused can be difficult for our son, Avital has done a nice job of keeping him moving and engaged. I also appreciate that she is thoughtful in her approach and in the material she is covering. Prior to hiring Avital, she spent time discussing our son's needs and wanted notes from his teacher regarding his performance and where he was struggling to better prepare material for his tutoring sessions.
