I have worked with ADD/ADHD children in the past. I have several hundred hours of experience using Play Therapy which is a tremendous tool to help work with children as we tutor in subjects like math. Using a tactile approach along with a white board and a textbook/study manual helps slow things down so the tutoring is done at the speed of the child. Redundancy made fun helps the child retain what is learned and reveals strengths (successes) and weak areas (future successes).
