I assumed that when I requested an ACT tutor for my daughter the tutor would have some knowledge of the test format and content. It was obvious to my daughter that the tutor had no knowledge of the test when she proceeded to ask questions regarding the "history section" of the test and if my daughter's score was good. There is no history section on the ACT test. I could not recommend this tutor for anyone looking for specific coaching on the ACT or SAT.

I hired Mel as a ACT tutor for my daughter and both she and I couldn't be any more pleased. Mel was amazing in preparing my daughter for all aspects of the ACT test. Through various exercises and practice tests, my daughter never felt more prepared. Mel had a thorough knowledge of what he was teaching and taught it very well. Mel's test preparation definitely reflected in my daughter's scores. Not only was Mel a tremendous help with the ACT, but also with college essays. I would highly recommend Mel to anyone trying to improve their tests scores in any subjects.
