Gilivaldo is currently assisting my 10th grader with Algebra 2 and we've already seen the positive results of his tutoring with improved scores on his tests! Gilivaldo has been very flexible and been able to schedule a tutoring session on short notice. Most of all, he is very patient and makes sure that my son understands the concepts he's teaching before moving on to a new lesson. I would definitely recommend Gilivaldo.
Kevin is a wonderful tutor. He is very patient with our son, and takes the time to explain the problems in a way our son can understand. He also makes sure that our son can do the work independently before moving forward. Our son's math confidence has already improved. Kevin is always timely and prepared. We are VERY pleased.
My son was given an assignment, for a 10th grade Honors World History class, to write a 6-8 page research paper. He has learning disabilities that impact his ability to organize and get his thoughts on paper. Katie, with her knowledge of the American Revolution, was able to recommend several sources and gave him a way to capture and organize his facts. She guided him with the outline, thesis statement and rough draft. She was able to quickly assess his learning style and make the right accommodations for him to get his thoughts on paper. She made a situation that would have been very stressful between parent and child into a pleasurable learning opportunity.
