Mr. James is a great tutor. If you need a patient person to work with and teach you or your child math/algebra then he fits the bill. After every session, I would ask my son if he felt like he was learning and if he understood what he was taught, the answer was "yes". He told me that Mr. James breaks down the information so he understood exactly what he was doing. Mr. James worked around his schedule and our busy schedule to accommodate my child's learning needs. I appreciate his kind spirit and willingness to teach without frustration. To teach, you must love what you do and Mr. James has a love for math; its shows though and though.

"BS Biology, MS Psychology"
My undergraduate degree was in Biology with a minor in chemistry. I did graduate level courses in Biology before Psychology grabbed me. I did a Masters in Psychology and completed the course word for the PhD but didn't complete my Dissertation.
I have several decades of teaching Psychology. The sciences are fun and great. Most students seem to enjoy Psychology more than most other science classes, perhaps because it is clearly related to "real life". It is nifty to make connections between... ... More

I have a B.S. in English, and after college, I went on to become a substitute teacher to get experience teaching before deciding to return to school for a Master's of Arts in Teaching Degree. I have completed all of the coursework for a Master's in Teaching in Elementary Education and Secondary... ... More

I tutor Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. My students range from the Elementary to College.
Since 2007, tutoring has been a passion for me. My interest in learning is infectious, and my tutoring style is both friendly and engaging.
I joined WyzAnt.com in the Spring of 2011, and since then have tutored nearly full time. My students range in age from 8 to 38. In each case, they sought to fill gaps that their classes left behind. Traditional education offers a one-size-fits-most ... ... More
"Classical, R&B, and Pop Vocal Coach"
Hi! I'm an 18 year old high school senior at Baltimore School for the Arts. I've been training classically for the last 4 years, and prior to that I played the trombone for about 7 years. I started volunteering to assist freshmen in their vocal lessons as well as in Music Theory because I love helping students reach their full potential the same way BSA is helping me reach mine!
I specialize in classical voice, and because of my training, I am able to sing/teach any other genre requested.... ... More
