I have over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience in mathematics, computer programming, statistics, physics, and other subjects, where the main difficulty and emphasis stem from the mathematics involved. My students range form grade 5 all the way to graduate students and some of them were regulars throughout their high school and college years.
I am flexible on meeting times and tutoring regime some students look only for intensive tutoring the week before a major test, others pre... ... More

I used Dylan to tutor me in Statistics. He was punctual and helped me review for my college exam. Although he didn't know all the problems, he was able to check and help me understand them. With his help, I was able to pass my exam and course.

"Experienced Tutor Math & Science from MIT"
I have a PhD in Engineering from University of Virginia and an undergraduate degree from MIT. I have also taught as an adjunct professor. As an undergraduate, my side job was tutoring other students as part of a formal tutoring program offered by the university. I love to learn and find different ways to approach material to get through to my students. I have consistently demonstrated the ability to help student improve a letter grade or more.

Mr. John is the right teacher for my son. My son likes his style of teaching and he can process what he taught him. He comes right on time ready to teach. I will like to continue with him as long as he is willing to teach him twice a week so that he can master the concepts well.

I’ve always been fascinated with the process of how we come to believe in ourselves (selfefficacy), and how that process helps us to establish an identity and become capable adults. During the adolescent years, this is the most pressing psychosocial issue.
I am blessed to have three sons, each one with different interests. As they were growing up I immersed myself into coaching sports, leading scout packs and troops, teaching religious education, and leading youth ministry. My involvemen... ... More

More review to follow. Jonathan is a very good tutor. He had thought of some ideas for me to begin my studies based on my initial emails to him. He was prompt, well spoken, flexible, and knowledgeable. I suspect I will have many positive thinks to say about him over our time together. As a former middle school science teacher in a Cambridge private school, Jonathan possesses many of the qualities of a good tutor.

Varaia has been a godsend for my daughter, who went from failing her algebra class to having a B+. Varaia not only takes the time to tutor my daughter, but she also takes the time to contact her teachers and stay up to date on their lesson plans. Unfortunately the teacher we have been dealing with has been difficult to communicate with. BUT Varaia has not let this get in the way of tutoring my daughter. Varaia is easy to communicate with and is interested in keeping parents and teachers informed of where the student is and what his/her issues are.
My daughter has great difficulty with organization and with math. Varaia takes the time to get her folders organized and to make sure she understands her math homework. Varaia even bought her a special folder to make it easier. My daughter's confidence is growing by the day!!! She knows Varaia will hold her to a standard and she has managed to stay on top of most of it. My daughter feels Varaia is formal enough to keep her on path but kind enough to make learning fun.
Personally I feel like Varaia manages her time as a tutor very professionally. She performs just like a teacher when I spend any time with them during sessions. For my daughter, this is the only way to go! She would blow off a tutor who was too strict or too lenient. Varaia has earned her respect and her attention. I would highly recommend Varaia as a tutor for your child. She is friendly, reliable, professional, and gets results!

The site was very helpful in finding the specific tutor for a specific topic. I really can't imagine an easier way to find a tutor at a great price. The topic my son takes is ASVAB. Mr. King is very professional and extremely knowledgeable in the material that he tutor. He has great system and tools to help in the understanding of the subject. I highly recommend both, the site and specially, the tutor.
