This was our first LSAT session. Jessica was very helpful and encouraging. We worked on logic games and she made a very difficult subject manageable.

Thanithia is a very patient and knowledgeable tutor. She inspires my son to reach beyond his limits and she is very easy to work with. Not only has she helped him with his ACT math, she has also advised him with his other assignments when needed. She has worked with us on a flexible schedule due to my son having an after school job and will make last minute appointments when necessary. She is a great tutor!

"Enthusiastic Tutor for U.S. History, Writing & K-6"

I earned a bachelor's degree at U.C. Berkeley with a 3.63 GPA. While at Berkeley, I worked as a teacher's assistant one semester for middle school students. In the classroom, I would help students who did not understand the schoolwork. In college I also tutored elementary school students in a program called Berkeley Youth Alternatives. Additionally, I tutored inner city students through the Global Education Program. Finally, I have tutored students of all ages as private tutor, mainly in the subjects of English and history, but also in math up to algebra. ... More

John has been a great tutor. His way of teaching math has made it so easy to understand and solve math problems. I had always had a hard time understanding this subject. With John's help, I'm feeling positive that I will pass the GED test when that time comes. I look forward to working with John on Tuesday.

I have great admiration for individuals who are focused on earning their GED. It show a tremendous amount of courage to face this type of challenge. I find that the most difficult aspect of the process for students is getting past the fear of facing material that is unfamiliar to them. I believe that working together we can build both skills and confidence and that students will find that they have abilities that they never realized they possessed. ... More

"Worker of LSAT GMAT GRE Miracles"

In seven years of teaching no one has ever asked me for a refund. Why? Because I love teaching and am committed to getting my students their best score. Of course it would be easy to just say that, but I promise you, work with me for 10 minutes and you'll know I am the real deal. The prep industry tries to convince you that standardized tests are hard, maybe impossible. The truth is that these tests are actually easy. My students are some of the brightest, hardest working people I have ever m... ... More

So awesome! Patient, understanding and works well with my 6th and 7th grader. In today's society with over crowding classrooms, and lack of one on one for the "average" student, I am so excited to have Jennifer working with my kids! Exacted for a long time relationship with our tutor!

I have a Master's in Special Education and a PhD ABD in Special Education. I have tutored and taught students with special needs for about eight years. I have worked with students with ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Learning Disabilities (both Verbal learning disabilities and Performance learning disabilities. I have worked with children on the autism scale, particularly those with Asperger's. I seem to connect very well with students with special needs, and they like me because I am understanding, patient and fair. I think this is partly because I believe in differentiating a lesson f ... In May of 2015, I graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with degrees in English and Spanish-Portuguese (combined major). I enjoy helping my students learn. To teach writing, I ask my students to write essays based on topics I give them. Some are argumentative in nature, which help to teach logic and a smooth flow of ideas leading from premises to a conclusion. Other essay topics are analytic, teaching students how to break a subject apart and put the pieces back together in a way that gets to the heart of the topic. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. My college education was at the University of California at Berkeley, where I earned degrees in Architecture and Business. My writing and teaching skills are ... More

I tutored under Brian and was very excited to finally get some help with my accounting issues! He was very knowledgeable on the subject and offered alternative ways to reach the same answer to my problem. Anyway, I appreciate his help.
Jacquelyn has been incredibly helpful with AP Bio-- we are trying the skype tutoring and so far it has been a nice way to work with her and not have to travel
Cheryl was prepared with a handout which is so useful. She has a wonderful teaching style...more lessons to follow!
Taylor has been working with my 17 year old on the SAT (old format) and his scores have improved. He is very knowledgeable, has a calming nature and is great at explaining strategy. Taylor comes to our home twice per week for two hours. He's been such a help that we've asked him to also tutor our son in Physics. So glad we found him. I'd highly recommend Taylor as a tutor to anyone.
