I have a strong combination of personal experience with study skills, a good record of experience working in a small academic, group setting; as well as, experience in the individual, tutoring, setting. These experiences have exposed me to a sufficient diversity of study approaches (and student challenges) so that I can suggest study skills and tailor a study plan that pushes for good grades and success for most students eager to improve their approach.

Our son is 14 and presently in a great private school that ends in 8th grade. He will be going to the public high school starting in 9th grade next year. Since we wanted him to keep up the high academic level that he has been used to, so we started looking for tutors. In finding Donald, I think we hit the jackpot. He has an incredible command over the subject matter and systematically breaks down a writing assignment. The very detailed, yet concise summaries he writes promptly after the tutoring session are extremely helpful. They let us know what was covered during the session and what our son needs to work on for the following week. Donald is extremely kind and caring and goes beyond the call of duty! For Donald teaching is not a job, it's a calling, and that makes all the difference.

After one meeting with Jack, my son is ready to meet again! He enjoyed Jack's approach for the first meeting. We both suspect the subsequent meetings will be set up to target additional test taking skills/strategy along with review of practice test homework in all 3 areas. Looks like we are off to the right start.
