Hello there! My name is Ckahlysia, but you can call me Clyde - a lot of people have trouble with my name. My favorite things to do are reading and writing creative works, as well as watch television and play video games. Outside of my little hobbies, though, I am a supportive and valuable teacher that can be a big part of the student's academic journey. Since I was a child I had always wanted to give a helping hand to others; in fact, I first started helping children with their academic prob... ... More

Eric helped our son with High School Pre-Calculus. Since the Pre-Calc teacher (San Diego Unified) refused to answer questions or provide any assistance to students outside the regular class period, it was a struggle for our son to fully understand the material, complete homework assignments, and to pass tests in class. Eric effectively reinforced course concepts and explained details that were not made clear by the teacher. He helped our student gain the confidence necessary to overcome a hostile classroom environment and to perform well on tests. Eric was flexible and willing to supplement scheduled sessions with SAT prep when time permitted. Eric exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Eric's skill as a tutor, our son's grades went from a C to an A and our stress level at home was reduced. On a recent SAT exam, our student felt much better prepared and was able to complete the exams and math scores improved 100 points. Although paying for a tutor was a consideration for us, it was well worth the expense. We are extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend Eric.
I've met her for about five months. I sometimes can not meet her because my son has a cold or I have do something for my housework. However, she rearranges the schedule for me. I think she has a lot of students but she thinks what is the best for me. Before I meet her, I couldn't speak a lot but now I can speak English more than before. She always gives me an advice about speaking English and about my son. The meeting time is really good for me. She is a great tutor for a mother who has a little child and someone wants to speak and study grammar as well.
Sandra is a very caring person and she really explains the information clearly. I would definitely refer her to fellow students that need help with passing the NCLEX examination. Sandra is passionate and wants the best for her students. Thank you WyzAnt for all your help!!
