"Professional ESL, Writing, Theater, and Music Tutor"
Theatre is, has been, and always will be my first love. I currently study privately with my own acting coach and received my bachelor of arts in theatre from Point Park University. I also studied abroad at the Accademia dell’Arte in Italy where I worked with Italian actors on the art of Commedia dell’Arte, or Italian improvisational theatre.
I believe that theatre skills increase communicative, academic, and creative thinking in children and adults alike. Theatre is also a great way to overcome your fears of public speaking, meeting new people, and working in groups.

Katelyn is a fantastic tutor. She's not only extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about the SAT, she is fun, nice and encouraging. I would most definitely recommend her for SAT or other English studies.

Jeff was a great and patient tutor. My son's grades came up two grade points. We is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend.

In the past I have had several chemistry tutors but none have helped me as much as Matthew did. He knew all the material on the spot and taught the way a teacher would. He broke down the problems into a manageable way therefore understanding the concept was enjoyable and not strictly memorization. Instead of talking and writing the duration of the meeting, Matthew would have me do the problems and guide me through them! This allowed me to learn and gain the confidence to do them myself, much like any test would be. This prepared me a huge deal and the turnaround of my test grades reflected that! I would recommend him to students trying to master general and organic chemistry.

Becky helped our son with an advanced HS writing course: she was able to coach him through the writing process on several occasions, helping him look for ways to improve his essays, and making him rethink or defend his choices. Altogether it made him more thoughtful and thorough about what he was writing and why, and through that he was better prepared with each exercise. She never told him what to write, but asked him a lot of questions and asked for clarification, which is why I used the word "Coach" very specifically.
Becky met with our son one-to-one for a first meeting, and thereafter met with him online, where they would use Google Docs and other internet services to communicate and exchange ideas. This worked extremely well and made the most efficient use of their time, also allowing for short-notice assistance, which was often needed because of the pace of the particular class. I would recommend Becky highly, and we will use her services again if needed.
