Bill was very patient and great at explaining the formulas. He simplified the work for me since I am a complete novice to finance. I will definitely seek him again for help!

"Economics, Finance, MBA, CFA"
I have an extensive background tutoring Economics. I worked for the Athletic Department of a Big Ten school while I attended University, tutoring for Econ and Finance courses almost exclusively for between 1050 hours a week. Post graduation, I've been working as a financial analyst, though I continue to tutor on the side. I am also a level III CFA candidate. ... More

I don't think I would be able to understand Calculus without Harry. He saved me time and worked with me. His prices are low compared to the
service I received from other tutors.
I would recommend EVERYONE to work with him. I am glad I found him on WyzAnt.

"Experienced Boston Tutor who can get Results "
I'm a software designer who's developed novel and effective ways to teach Algebra and Calculus to students of a widerange of abilities. With a little guidance and a lot of hard work, a student can improve fundamental skills dramatically in just a few short weeks. Many of the methods I employ I once used to dramatically improve my own skills in Algebra and Calculus with very successful results in high school. I have also used these skills everyday in important situations such as measuring the... ... More

"10+ years of experience Math PhD tutor"
I'm Francisco, I am finishing my PhD in Applied Mathematics at MIT, and have more than a decade of HS and college level tutoring experience. I have also TA'd many college level courses, so I know what's up! I understand that knowing a lot of math is very different from knowing how to teach math, so I try to tailor my classes to my students. I always welcome (and even encourage!) people to provide guides and material of exactly what you want to learn before the session, so I can be better prep... ... More

I reached out to Ken on the first day of a Master’s level Economics course, as I was incredibly anxious from the calculations within the first assignment. My first observation on WyzAnt’s website was the ‘Tutor Response Time’. Ken responded very quickly, less than 4 hours, just as the website noted which eliminated my anxiety. Ken’s tutoring approach is clear, concise, and as he accurately states, "Aligns with the student needs according to how the student would like to apply it in the future.†Ken helped me not only pass the course with a superb grade, but I also have a greater understanding of Economics.

Idalia tutored my nephew for a few weeks in high school Spanish 1. He was failing and needed lots of help. Idalia was professional from the onset of meeting her. She came prepared with lessons and books, even not knowing the level of my nephews competency. She took the time to evaluate his level and devise a plan to get my nephew back on track. She is very personable and patient, working with our crazy schedules. My nephew enjoyed working with her and we will continue tutoring with her. On a side not I took 3 years of college Spanish and after seeing her diligence, knowledge and patience with my nephew, I was thinking of taking lessons myself when I get some free time.

My son is taking a compressed 6 week precalculus course online. Allen has been able to make the material more understandable and has given my son confidence.
