My girls felt so much better with geometry and their confidence was regained. I had her come back for a second time the same week to keep their confidence, even their math teacher was impressed with their improvement and was able to see how much they had learned and understood. Now we just have to keep it up. A little expensive but well worth it, Andrea is definitely my girls' "life saver," thank you. Will continue to use her.

"99th Percentile Tutor: SAT, ACT, Calculus, Physics, Precalculus, GRE"
Turn yours struggles into success! I have been tutoring for over fourteen years and have worked with students of diverse backgrounds. I began tutoring during high school as a volunteer tutor to an algebra class at a private Catholic school in my community. I had always assisted my peers in class, so tutoring formally came very naturally to me. My high school guidance counselors saw how much I excelled at math and science, as well as how my I enjoyed sharing my affinity for those subjects with... ... More

When our son started to fail his algebra 2 class we turned to WyzAnt to find a math tutor. I interviewed 4 tutors and asked 2 of them to come for a paid session with my son. Brenda was available next day. She spent 1.5 hrs with him and we saw an immediate improvement in his score from 57 to 81. We asked our son for feedback between two tutors and he said that he would like to continue working with Brenda. Brenda has been meeting with him since then once a week. She is responsive and gets back to you right away by phone or email. Brenda is very pleasant to work with, always smiling and laughing, which puts kids at ease. During her sessions I can hear my son asking clarifying questions, he is engaged and focused. My son's grades improved this semester considerably and we are very grateful to Brenda for her work.

I am a current chemistry undergraduate student at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont. I am also working on a minor in philosophy and thought. My experience with tutoring has ranged from one-on-one help to group work in both laboratories where I worked and got paid as a teaching assistant, and in casual tutoring sessions. I have tutored for many friends, family friends, and strangers alike. All of them students high school aged or older! My reason for tutoring is to spread the awa... ... More

Kolina was my first tutor experience, and I was a little nervous that I'd feel really stupid, but it was great! She's patient and easy to talk to. I felt a lot more comfortable with the material I needed help with.

Explains the material that is easy to understand. Always on time and very professional. We are planning to use Juan's help to improve the grade and help to pass AP Statistics test.
